"It's Tuesday Night Blues on a Saturday Night!"
That was the war cry that began the first ever live performance of Captain Carl's Tuesday Nite Blues Band in the spring of 2006 in Old Dodge City. After a decade of spinnin' the tunes on Southwest Kansas radio, Erik "Captain" Carl decided to take his popular Tuesday Nite Blues program to the stage and throw a free concert of mixed orignals and blues standards with a few of his highly talented fellow musicians. Four long years later, the Captain's original compositions still a powerful draw to his erstwhile fellow performers, the Tuesday Nite Blues Band reunited to take their unique brand of blues-inspired music into the studio.
Now, with the Captain's long-anticipated maiden voyage finally underway, the band is ready to step back into the sun with a brand new CD and make their triumphant return to the stage.
